Egg Films’ director Kyle Lewis has teamed up with Accenture Song on the new commercial for Doritos – a bold blend of comedy, colour, and South African swagger. Titled ‘Speak Up,’ the spot is a visually striking and surreal ode to those who dare to be different.

The commercial follows Ntobeko, a young man in a high-stakes family meeting where expectations weigh heavily on him. The setting is a surreal, exaggerated world that mirrors his inner tension where reality twists with vibrant visuals and sharp humour. Brimming with South African nuances, the ad immerses you in an emotive world where comedic performances are infused with depth and cultural authenticity.

From ultra-sharp camerawork to duplication effects and vivid colours, Kyle has sculpted each frame to transport us into a high-octane rollercoaster of bold energy. ‘We’re not just selling chips; we’re celebrating those who dare to be different,’ says Kyle. The spot masterfully balances humour with emotional depth, creating a world that is undeniably South African yet unmistakably Doritos.
