Hi Kyle, tell us about the brief:
The agency wanted to create a piece that was bold and self-expressive. It was all about various characters who own their space coming together to create a tapestry of voices in a manifesto piece. The agency gave me a lot of freedom in the script and wanted my style to this piece. so over all it was a great experience.
What was the solution to the brief?
The concept was to target a younger audience of energy users in Germany. It was very important for them to represent various demographics and interesting characters especially the Digital Generation. The piece follows the letters of the alphabet with each character representing a correlating letter.
What attracted you to the script?
I love this kind of viral piece so I was attracted to it immediately.
Anything unique about the ad – music, special effects, character acting?
Almost everything was achieved in-camera, this is a big part of my work is to achieve as much as possible before we get to set. We had a tight 3 days to shoot everything and how my incredible crew pulled it off was incredible.
